Turning 50 is a different experience for everyone. Talking about it is fascinating and inspirational for this reason.
My guest today is Cindy Lopez, an amazing woman in the middle who shares her experience of turning 50, what she enjoyed about planning her milestone and what her plans are now that she’s on the better side.
Cindy is a busy mom who cared for her ailing parents, went back to school and finished her bachelor’s degree in her 40s and then finally got to focus on some exciting plans after she turned 50.
She eventually realized she was experiencing a classic midlife funk. Her kids were getting older and her 50th birthday was on the horizon. After her dad passed, she was able to pause, breathe and realize where she wanted to go with her life.
She couldn’t ignore her passion for writing and set the stage to go in this direction in her future. Cindy found the whole experience of this transition empowering. She finally had time to create space to think about her future in an intentional way.
